🌟 Your star role

As a founding full-stack engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Work closely with CIO and have an impact on the tech stack, infrastructure, writing code, and building robust, scalable Superjoi Platform. Your world will revolve around building new features, implementing CI/CD pipelines, processes and deploying test and production versions of the platform to our AWS stack.

Critical aspects of your role include:

• Build and own mission-critical tools for creators.
• As one of our first engineers, you’ll build entirely new products from the ground up and make critical architectural decisions.
• You’ll be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing entire projects end to end, from idea to launch. To do so, you’ll work closely with design, operations, and (of course) Creators and Superfans.
• You’ll create the engineering standards, tooling, and processes alongside our Engineering Team Lead and CIO.
• Develop and own high-quality code across all levels of the stack that allows us to scale to millions of active users
• Build integrations between our API partners and us
• Design beautiful, engaging and performant UIs

👩‍🚀 About you

Essential qualities that will help you thrive at Superjoi:

• Has 3+ years experience with full-stack development, mainly with hands-on experience with MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js) stack and AWS deployments.
• Familiarity with building API integrations, new REST APIs, event sourcing, integrating & handling payments (Stripe).
• You have a strong sense of ownership, and you’re comfortable driving the development of a fundamental part of the product at a fast pace.
• Understands the importance of both speed and quality, and the trade-offs of choosing one over the other
• Strong communication skills and are collaborative, especially when teammates are faced with new challenges.
• The ability to manage your own time and roadmap effectively.
• You are comfortable moving across the stack when necessary.
• Have designed, built, and maintained production services.
• Enjoy researching new technologies and spinning things up from scratch.
• Maybe you’re a previous founder and have a deep passion for love the early-stage grind.
• Bonus if you have a deep passion for content creators and are a superfan yourself.
• Extra bonus if you’re actively building and investing in Web3, NFTs, and Crypto projects.
